There are literally dozens of ways to fish the Wig-L-Stick and all of them catch fish.  You can fly line it and let it wiggle down to the fish. It catches fish Carolina rigged or Texas Rigged.  Or Nail weigh it and fish it wacky style for an incredible fish catching technique.  Lastly, don't over look wacky rigging the Wig-L-Rig as a jig trailer, sounds funny - but give it a try... you can thank us later.
